Cooks Beach Group Accommodation — Sleeping 6 to 10 Guests

Cooks Social works for groups because it was designed with groups in mind. There’s proper space here — not just extra bedrooms, but a layout where people can actually spread out. The lounge opens to the pool deck, the outdoor kitchen has room for everyone, and the games garage gives people somewhere to disappear to when the cricket’s on.

We offer two configurations depending on your group size, both on the same property and both with full access to everything.

Cooks Social has the space and amenities to make your stay unforgettable.

Social Plus

Full Property for Up to 10 Guests

The full Cooks Social experience. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms, open-plan kitchen, and living areas that spill out onto the pool deck. The swim-jet pool sits just beyond the back doors, the covered outdoor kitchen is set up for a proper group dinner, and the games garage is down the side with a projector screen and table tennis.

Social Base

Three Bedrooms for Up to 6 Guests

Same property, same pool, same BBQ setup — just with three bedrooms instead of five. The Social Base suits smaller groups who want the Cooks Social experience without a full house. There’s still an ensuite off the main bedroom, a modern kitchen, and full use of everything outside.

What's the difference between Social Plus and Social Base?

Social Plus gives you the full house — five bedrooms across the property, three bathrooms, and space for up to 10 guests. Social Base uses the main house’s three core bedrooms and two bathrooms, and suits groups of up to 6. Both options give every guest full access to the swim-jet pool, outdoor spa, games garage, and covered BBQ area. The main difference is how many people you’re bringing and how many bedrooms you need.

Yes — Cooks Social is well set up for larger groups and family stays. The Social Plus option sleeps up to 10 guests across five bedrooms, with multiple bathrooms to keep things running smoothly.

The outdoor living areas are a real highlight, with a covered BBQ space, pool deck, and outdoor kitchen that comfortably accommodate the whole group for meals and downtime together. There’s also the separate Games Garage, which works especially well for mixed-age groups or when not everyone wants to be in the same space at once.

The swim-jet pool is available year-round for all guests, no matter which booking option you choose. In the warmer months, it’s naturally heated by the sun and ideal for swimming, relaxing, or using the resistance jets. During winter, the pool is unheated — more of a refreshing plunge for those who enjoy a crisp dip.

The outdoor spa is fully heated and located on the deck in a tucked-away position, offering good privacy from neighbours. Both the pool and spa are included in your stay (no extra charges), so you can enjoy a cool swim followed by a warm soak.

The Games Garage is a separate entertainment space on the property, set away from the main living areas — perfect for groups who want a bit of space or different ways to unwind.

It features a projector setup for movie nights, a table tennis table, and plenty of room to relax or hang out. It’s a great option on overcast days, evenings, or for younger guests who want their own zone while others enjoy the rest of the property.

Yes. The property is set up well for families — the pool and spa are on a private section so there’s no sharing with other guests, the games garage keeps younger guests occupied, and the covered outdoor kitchen and BBQ area makes feeding a larger family group easier than most holiday homes. The beach is a 5-minute walk from the property, and Lonely Bay — which is sheltered and calm — is a short drive. A few things to note: the pool does not have a safety fence, so parents should supervise young children around the pool area.
